Excellence,
J'ai l'honneur de me référer à la résolution 78/123 de l'Assemblée générale, adoptée le 15 décembre 2023, concernant le renforcement de la coopération internationale pour le développement durable et la promotion des droits de l'homme à l'échelle mondiale.
La présente communication vise à informer Votre Excellence des mesures prises par le Secrétariat en vue de la mise en œuvre effective des dispositions de ladite résolution. Conformément aux directives énoncées dans le document, nous avons établi un groupe de travail interinstitutions chargé de coordonner les efforts de tous les organismes des Nations Unies concernés.
Les principales initiatives en cours comprennent l'élaboration d'un cadre stratégique pour la période 2024-2030, la mobilisation de ressources financières supplémentaires auprès des États membres et des partenaires internationaux, ainsi que le renforcement des capacités institutionnelles des pays en développement.
Le Secrétariat attache une importance particulière à la participation active de tous les États membres dans ce processus. À cet égard, nous invitons respectueusement Votre Excellence à désigner un point focal national qui sera chargé de faciliter la communication et la coordination entre votre gouvernement et le Secrétariat.

Your Excellency,
I have the honor to refer to General Assembly resolution 78/123, adopted on 15 December 2023, concerning the strengthening of international cooperation for sustainable development and the promotion of human rights worldwide.
This communication is intended to inform Your Excellency of the measures taken by the Secretariat for the effective implementation of the provisions of the said resolution. In accordance with the directives set out in the document, we have established an inter-agency working group responsible for coordinating the efforts of all concerned United Nations bodies.
The main initiatives underway include the development of a strategic framework for the period 2024-2030, the mobilization of additional financial resources from Member States and international partners, as well as the strengthening of institutional capacities in developing countries.
The Secretariat attaches particular importance to the active participation of all Member States in this process. In this regard, we respectfully invite Your Excellency to designate a national focal point who will be responsible for facilitating communication and coordination between your government and the Secretariat.
